Chapter 2 Blog Contents and Language selection

Speaking about blog contents, it is very important. Visitors tend to visit a focused contents blog rather than all in one. The contents must be unique and not copied. It is believed that blog contents contribute to the Google Page Rank ranking system. The more unique your content is, the higher page rank will be. But of course, the contents must be hot and popular now. Visitors will come back to read your boring posts, but will continue to read if you provide interesting posts.


Regarding about the correlation between contents and blog money making, an advertiser will choose to advertise on blog which is relevant to them. Here there are some personal tricks from myself. Make sure your homepage (the posts shown on 1st page) are almost same categories, then bid on the relevant opportunities, do not bid non-relevant opportunities, it is wasted. Advertisers will simply reject your bids if they found your blog is not relevant to them. After you finish bid all the relevant opportunities, change your blog content directions to others and continue write about it, do the same thing until the opportunities finished.


Blog language selection, I recommend you to use English as the main language of your blog. This is simply because most of the advertisers are come from United State, they wouldn’t advertise on Chinese written blog or Tamil written or whatever it is. You can mix the language you used in blog but don’t too much, otherwise your blog will look messy and advertiser wouldn’t take any consideration into it.
